I love this medley for several reasons. There is an inside joke from back in the day in earlier part of this decade... a joke about me getting married and it has something to do with this clip below. Post Grammy
Now I'm on an even bigger hiatus than before... but Grammy night was unusual. I've been going to the Grammys since 2004 and this seemed to be the most unusual one so far.
I couldn't and I still can't wrap my head around the whole Rihanna / Chris Brown debacle. Shit happens and I wish people would just stop persecuting Chris, you never know what went on in his childhood. You just can't judge people, help them. He needs to get professional help. Be positive people. I hope they both heal from this situation.
* That whole situation got me thinking about alot of things.
Usher...alright his wife was having plastic surgery in Brazil??????????

I adored this little outfit and M.I.A. dancing on stage! I felt proud to see her because I know how far she has come. What a beautiful surprise. Shout out to Diplo too! Congrats! How funny was it when M.I.A. came out and people were so shocked by her outfit that they weren't really looking at Lil'Wayne, Jay-Z, Kanye, and T.I. posing on those steps?!!!!! LMAO! She showed them up. That was funny.

I think Usher, Beyonce, Chris Brown, and Rihanna could have saved the Grammy's this year. I think that this was the worst Grammys I have ever seen!

How long does it take you to complete a project?
Kanye West PRIDE (In the name of LOVE)
For Kanye its 3 weeks.
Beyonce
For Beyonce its 2 weeks.
Nikki Reed
For Nikki Reed its 6 days.
Stephen King talks about various authors taking from 2 days to ten years to finish a novel.
For me, I have too many projects piled up. I need to have just one or two and complete them fully one at a time. If I can't do the project justice and do my best work, than I should turn it down. One of my terrible habits is not being able to say no but this year will be different and it will be apparent. I have seen how much I have grown over the years. Thank goodness. I don't want to talk too much about this subject of projects. You will just have to wait and see.
Prioritize
Commit
Be Patient
Do the Work...
Persevere
And as my friend Claudia says, "Baby steps."
