eGlamour (inspiring story)

Two nights ago I was fortunate to hang out with my friend Daniel aka eGlamour.

He just happened to be in the same city!

I have known him for three years and he has been progressing with his craft. You can check out his myspace page at eGlamour

I had not seen him in those three years. I came across his photos when he began and I always thought they were special.

What I admire about Daniel is that he is humble and that he has worked very hard for everything that he has. His story is an empowering one and it inspired me. (maybe you guys will read it and feel inspired too) He could have just given up in so many ways but he hung in there.

Three years ago he came to Dallas from Los Angeles to make a better life for himself and escape his family's drama. Things didn't happen the way he thought they would and Daniel ended up living in his car. Alot of lonely nights in his car with no one to talk to except for God. Determined to make ends meet he worked 20 hours a day at Denny's. He finally got on his feet but it wasn't easy. He always had faith. Just when things seemed dim and dire he kept pulling on through. He didn't know how it was going to happen for him, he just kept at it. He moved back to Los Angeles and as his luck would have it, stumbled upon meeting the right people at the right time. Of course this didn't happen overnight. He is now the personal photographer for the artist Ray J and has had progressive success with his photography.

I was delighted to know that he has a great head on his shoulders still and has remained focused.

Everyone has a different journey in life. I cannot wait to see how his unfolds. I know he is meant for great things.

He is a great example of the virtue of patience.
(I posted a blog about PATIENCE a few days ago.)

Ps. If you are in the local area, you should get your photo taken by him. He is a swell guy!
Pss. I don't have a picture to post of us! I forgot to bring my camera and I guess he didn't use his. We just ended up hanging out and talking till the wee hours.

Here are some of his recent photographs below:
